"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming
The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive.
This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive...

"The rooms were small but adequate. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the choice at breakfast was good. There was a small amount of parking space at the front of the hotel. It stands at walking distance from the railway station but noise is NOT intrusive.
There were a lot of stairs to the top floor of the hotel. There was a poor flow of water in the shower and the water took a long time to get hot, perhaps because of being on the top floor.

"The hotel is in a lovely building, but the decor in our room was odd and dated - it needed a bit of tlc and updating in our opinion. Lovely views of the city and beyond. We wish the blinds/curtains had been black out, as it got quite light in the morning. The big light in our room flickered a lot, so we couldn’t use it. Free parking was great. The room was cleaned each day and had basic amenities - kettle with tea and coffee, ironing board and a safe in the wardrobe."

"Einfach top! Die Lage direkt an Dean Village ist ideal, sehr zentral gelegen und entspricht voll und ganz den Fotos. Das Personal war super höflich und zuvorkommend. "We enjoyed our stay at The Hoxton very much. The hotel is right by Haymarket station, which made it easy to get to places. We had drinks at the bar one night and thought the cocktail menu had a good selection, and the drinks were delicious! The staff is also very nice and overall we had a great stay."

"Clean, spacious and well equipped room - had everything i needed for a comfortable stay, and a comfy bed. Perfect location for city centre and Waverley station. Wouldnt be suitable for those who needed accessibility support due to old building limitations - no lifts.
