"Nusa Bay is an unforgettable location and stay. Take the snorkelling or diving excursions to the reef - an absolute highlight with great guides like Lik Putu. Highly recommend the trip to get to Nusa Bay to see a lot of Bali. If you have a driver, ask for stops at waterfalls and traditional coffee and tea makers to experience more of the mountains between Ubud and West Bali National Park. "Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside...

"What a fantastic place to relax. From the first moment, when you drive down the bamboo tunnel, you just know its going to be great. Stayed for a couple of nights in a Cliff Tent Pool Villa, which had great views across the ocean to Menjangan Island. The Cliff Tents are well spaced out, so it is very relaxing. Tents are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Food at both the restaurant and as Room service was excellent, and we had a delicious floating breakfast for both mornings, sat watching...

"The Menjangan is a beautiful resort in the West Bali Barat National Park. It is spread out over a large area with open top mini buses traveling between the various parts available at any time on request. Our poolside room was large and beautifully styled. The two restaurants offer lovely meals and the staff are super polite and friendly. The number of rooms and guests is relatively small so it is never crowded. "The host Nino is the best! He was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay welcome and also took us to interesting places. He helped us book all our excursions, to Mount Ijen. He took us around town and we got to see places off the tourist path! He also cooks food with his family nearby, and was willing to feed us at any time! "This was our second time staying in Batu Ampar Resort. The property is a 10-15 minutes walk from Pasir Putih Beach. The rooms are comfortable, the AC is cold, and the outdoor bathroom is a nice addition. The room was cleaned daily. The food is delicious, and the staff is absolutely lovely! We very much enjoyed our stay in Batu Ampar. Thank you all! "
