"The staff at the Abbey are excellent, by far the best part about the stay. Very friendly with each encounter and extremely accommodating. We had several bags with us, and they made our check-in and check-out much easier by going out of their way to support.
The room itself is satisfactory; it is about what you pay for. Nothing too extraordinary, but more than sufficient for what we needed it for. Although the bathroom wasn’t terribly well maintained, and the shower didn’t drain very well....

First Lasswade Road HouseGilmerton
6.8 trên 10, (5 nhận xét)
"The property was unfortunately not as advertised and the photos felt very misleading. While the bedding, kitchen and bathroom were clean, overall the place felt quite tired and in need of an upgrade. The walls, carpets and couches all needed a proper clean and there were no base covers on the bed. Which are usually a norm in most homes, so expected in a letting.
There were also several maintenance issues including a broken stair rail and a shower that only worked as a handheld attachment....

"\the staff were universally helpful, especially at breakfast. the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was good. I did not find the restaurant for other meals suited my taste but that is an individual matter. There were not enough vegetables for my liking. My first room was hard for me to navigate but I was moved to a very satisfactory one.
The car park and the lift were selling points for me initially but I have become comfortable there, so will be back, barring accidents."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and helped arrange a surprise (cake and balloons) for my wife's birthday. The room was large by European standards and the bathroom was elegant, well equipped, and also very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the extras (slippers and robe) and a welcome plate of fruit and chocolates. The only negatives were the condition of some very easily remedied aspects of...

"First Class experience from start to finish! The Virgin company, hands down, knows what they are doing when it comes to travel and hospitality, coming from someone who was once an executive of a 5 star luxury brand. Virgin Edinburgh was such a vibe. The whole aesthetic is sexy, sultry and ever so inviting. You are immersed in intrigue at every turn with the eccentric decor and vibrancy of color throughout the hotel. The staff, First Class from the moment we were greeted at the door, to check-in,...

"Great location, close to downtown, royal mile, train station and close enough to the airport for an easy taxi. They were able to accommodate an early check-in for us, which we greatly appreciated. The room was comfortable with nice amenities. The entire property is quite nice and spacious. All staff members we interacted with were kind and helpful.
My only complaint is that the bathroom doors have transparent cut-outs, removing much privacy between the toilet and the rest of the room. It's an...
