"Noisy in the morning with workmen banging and drilling next door of up above my room "

"The hotel is central in Glasgow, near to bars/restaurants, shops, and good transport links. Our room was a good size, clean & bed big and very comfortable. If I had to make once comment it would be to upgrade the toilet paper - then it would be perfect. The kitchen are had fridge, dishwasher and I think washing machine. We only used the fridge for milk to make hot drinks (we did take our own additional tea/coffee) as we enjoyed the local business's for food. If you on a tight budget you could make meals in your room and self-cater. Would definitely book again if staying in Glasgow."

"Stayed overnight after a concert at the Hydro. While the room was spacious and the location ideal, the service fell short. The fire alarm went off at 12.30am with no information from staff about what was happening. After several minutes it stopped, but the disruption made it difficult to get back to sleep. What frustrated me most was the checkout experience. I wasn’t given any apology or explanation, yet I heard other guests being offered both apologies and generous discounts for the inconvenience. This inconsistent approach to customer service was really disappointing. "
