"The hotel was in an excellent location, close to transportation and restaurants. Staff was awesome and hopeful. The rooms themselves were a bit bare-bones, though I would say the bathrooms were very nice!"

"The fact that you can walk to the OVO Hydro, one of UKs most prominent arenas makes the Crowne Plaza a must stay. We really enjoyed the front desk and pub staff for “Banter” and sight seeing ideas, places to go and shop. Glasgow is the right size city, folks overwhelming nice and approachable. "

"Breakfast is As poor as the modern hotel standard would expect. Reduced staff, self service. Canned orange juice. Instant powdered scrambled eggs, no hash browns. Requested other cooked eggs overcooked to oblivion. Rubbish vegetarian sausages you have to ask for separately. (Veg sausages in supermarkets are actually tasty and have been for some time now, we don’t have to put up with the horrible ones any more, but please someone let the hotel supplier know!) "

"Staff was great and gave wonderful advice on things to see and do. Bathroom was spotless. Rooms were devoid of any decoration, but clean minus some scuffs on the walls. The beds are perfect for those who enjoy a firm mattress. My hips were not a fan. "

"There was no in room coffee, no place to get ice, no vending machine even though the elevator said that there was a vending machine on the ground floor. The refrigerator in the room didn’t work. When I asked how to turn it on, I was told that they were only there to keep food at the temperature it already was. "
