"Best castle"

"Nice room"

"Upon registering was told " we don't have breakfast our vender closed". Lobby was dirty. Going upstairs to room on a Friday afternoon, m I d all over the stairs. Leaving Sunday morning mud still there. Entered room bed was made but two of the pillows were very wrinkled and smelled. Sheets looked clean and pressed. In all, don't stay here."

"Zach was extremely personable and helpful, as were all other front desk staffers!"

"The double bed room was not clean, dust everywhere and the bathroom was gross. The shower curtain was stained, the sink faucet was filthy and the sink drain only worked if I removed the filthy stopper. I had to ask for a roll of toilet paper and box of tissue. My complaints to the front desk about the non-stop noise from the upstairs room were not addressed, there was no one for me to talk to, I was told that they would leave a note for the manager. My daughter and I could not sleep for 3...

"The first disappointment was how close by the road was.It makes sense for an old hotel, but I found the constant noise and traffic unpleasant and certainly for sitting on the verandah. Also no breakfast is served which is mentioned on website though it definitely was not happening. And lastly I found it tacky to demand a dollar each for drinks in the beverage area.If it costs that much they could incorporate it in the room charge. It just seems unwelcoming"

"Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!"

"Our stay was excellent!"

"Nothing really special about the motel, clean enough for an overnight stay, generally quiet."

"The breakfast was not as appealing as I anticipated. Maybe orange instead of apples, more hot food. Coffee was always available but not great."
