"Staff all very good. I had a problem with the toilet seat and they fixed it during the day while I was out. Food and drinks service good. No noise in my room from the wedding party. Only issue for me was the room window was very small and high up in the wall, so I couldn’t see out, and the sky light had no covering, so being Scotland, I had daylight from 5:30am waking me up. Not the worst problem in the world. Wonderful park like location, and again, all the staff were wonderful."

"Nice clean rooms. Breakfast was great. Nice grounds. Staff were lovely. Didn ’t get a chance to use the pool.
Not many negatives, but our room kept stopped working 3 times, in a 1 night stay. I had to nip out to the car, and ended up not being able to get back in to the building. Also, when others are entering the building (was a separate building with just bedrooms) the doors rattle really badly. My daughter kept thinking someone was trying to get in the room.

"I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I booked on a whim to be close to St Andrews without St Andrews prices. Upon first glance my husband thought I was crazy, he assumed it would be run down, and not offer much because it was not in the city center. He sure changed his tune on that once we checked in. "The hotel is a bit far out from the shops so unless you’re reasonably fit , you might need a car. Our room was large an good sized en suite. The other problem I would point out is that, iagain if you’re struggling with walking ,or require the aid of a stick or other walking aid there’s a lot of stairs to reach some of the rooms. My husband did struggle with them. Ideal for a one night stop over."
