"We stayed in a studio cottage adjacent to the main building.it was exceptionally clean & comfortable . There was a lovely bed &a small kitchen area with microwave & dishwasher. The main hotel has a very friendly bar
The restaurant serves very good food, reasonably priced. The English breakfast is fantastic.
It’s our 4th visit. I think that speaks volumes. Hopefully ,it won’t be our last."

"If you want to stay in a small characterful boutique hotel in a very pleasant area of Cheltenham then look no further. The hotel has a very welcoming feel and all members of staff we met were really helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a really lovely lounge area and if we were staying longer, I would have definitely used it as a quiet reading spot, likewise the small courtyard area adjacent to the restaurant. We stayed in Room 14 which was on the top floor of the hotel. As there is no lift,...

"The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The shower was really good and all the basic usual were there.
The welcome from Nadine was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast, thank you Chef. Overall the Linden Tree is a good, basic stopover, especially if staying overnight after watching the Cherry and Whites."
