"For me, the main reason to stay in a hotel is to get sleep which requires a comfy bed, darkness and quiet. Unfortunately here the windows are very old sash style windows which are not double glazed and have lots of gaps. There were several broken locks and handles indicating they know this is an issue. The bedroom was described as deluxe double but there is nothing deluxe about it. The carpet was stained and had not been vacuumed recently as evidenced by dead flies and numerous bits. "Beautiful room ! Clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spotless with everything you needed for your stay, including slippers ! Warm bathroom with hot water which you might think goes without saying, but the previous night we stayed in a hotel without either of those things. Parking onsite which was such a bonus.
