" A hotel has control over cleanliness, upkeep, and service. This hotel ranks very poorly in service. Not a single smile from any staff at check-in, check-out, or requests. They advertise pickup from the airport is available but after a call before flight, after landing, and then 3 more calls after landing, the shuttle did not arrive even after an hour. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport! In my last call to the hotel, they told me they couldn't even contact the driver of the...

"Easy parking, pleasant staff. Unfortunately thy had a student sports team stay the same night. That morning the free breakfast was devoured by the group of teenage boys. We had plans for the day so we had to check out earlier than we wanted due to having to go find breakfast. They said they had kitchen staff bring more food. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to wait. Again not the hotels fault. More so the inconsiderate juveniles. "

"It’s a good place to stay when rates aren’t sky high. Paying over $300 a night plus $60 to self park for Portland is ridiculous. Clean rooms, quiet. The digital key system is a hassle to get working if you’re not using Safari on iOS. "

"Hotel is beautiful but rooms are small! Tight for 3 people. The parking is expensive and only option is valet. There’s always a long wait to get your car, they don’t go in order and are rude. The “free” snacks on the various floors were nothing special. Instead of sparkling water, have regular available. Also some real snacks not just granola and mints. Otherwise it was beautiful!"

"Beautiful hotel! I loved the design of the lobby and rooms. Everything is thoughtfully planned and inviting. Staff is friendly and the room was lovely and clean with a very comfortable bed. Despite being on a fairly busy street, it was silent. I loved the selection of teas in room and the evening turn down service. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Old Port, but there are great cafes and restaurants much closer. Would definitely stay again!"
