"Great location and cozy cottage, but bring your own food if you're vegetarian! The cottage was perfect for our family vacation. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, relaxing in the hot tub was a wonderful bonus. The location is ideal—it's very close to the Golden Circle and the Kerið crater. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, gas stove, microwave, and refrigerator, which came in very handy. "Room is small and small fridge is loud. Close to blue falls and geyser area."

"This is a good choice if you need a mid point to take a break on your way south. It’s very basic so don’t expect much, but the twin beds and pillows are very comfortable. We chose it hoping it’s far enough from the city lights to see the aurora, but no luck with all the clouds in the way. It’s still a decent place, no wake up call offered but I was able to go out of both exits on the upper floor regularly to check for aurora. I’d stay here again if too tired to drive."

"We LOVED this place. The rooms were so comfortable. It felt like the bathroom floor was heated and there was a towel warmer. It was fun watching the cows, and the food was delicious. We saw Northern Lights while we were here too!"

"Cozy hotel! Super clean!!!"

"Our stay at the Green Geysir Cottage was wonderful. This property is relatively new, with more being built. Its one of the BEST places that we have stayed in Iceland. The cottage was clean, comfortable, private and close to many attractions. Well equipped kitchen/great room area, very nice private bedroom/bathroom set up. The property hot tub was large and well maintained. We will definitely be staying her for several nights on our next trip."

"Hotel is next to the power plant, but otherwise nothing around it so beautiful nature views. Very dark at night for Northern Lights. The glass house and Northern Lights bar areas are really cool. The heated outdoor pool is interesting. We had a lovely soak...just note it's only a few feet deep. Food at Silfra was ok. We didn't stay for breakfast. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and well maintained. The ride through the parks to get here is STUNNING."
