"The stay was good for the night first room both tvs didn’t work and the toilet wouldn’t stop running. Staff was extremely nice and helpful the front desk lady needs a raise because she was so helpful and switched me and my family to a new room asap except the next room fridge didn’t work had a towel in in and under it because it wouldn’t stop running but overall the great staff made it great for a quick stay and the pool and jacuzzi ooent until 11 really saved the night the water was freezing in the pool so be prepared"
"Staff was very friendly, somewhat confused as to what role who played because it was 'attached' to a Penny's diner, it was kind of confusing, but humorous to check in at the diner. My room was well-maintained and clean. I don't know about amenities, their was an exercise room. vending machines and coin-op washing machine were in the entry way to the rooms. No coffee machines in the rooms, no breakfast - in fact what I assume had been the area for a continental breakfast was instead a lounge for train crews. Would I stay here again if in the area? Yes, the things I listed didn't bother me much, but I could see how they would other travelers and, as I said the room was clean and well maintained. The one employee that I say in the actuual motel, a housekeeper was very courteous and helpful. A note about Penny's diner since it is apparently a part of this location since you have to check in there: when I go to a diner, I expect to order from a menu not told to scan a QR code to see the menu. In my case, I had left my phone in my room, instead of being offered a menu I was told 'It's (the menu) written on the white board above the windows.' The server who told me this seemed apologetic, and he was very attentive during our meal, the lcak of menus was no reflection on him, his serv ice was excellent. For a chain that is promoting the nostalgic old diner experience, the lack of menus is idiocy."
"The gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to be helpful to me. I was traveling with my ill dog to the animal cancer center at Colorado State and needed special help. He was so accommodating and then even gave me a bag of his microwave popcorn from his personal stash! I felt very cared for at a time when I especially needed that. I will always choose his hotel now ❤️"
