"Great stay"

"We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn."

"Overall, a great experience. Clean room, attentive staff, asy parking and easy in and out right on the main route through town. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance as well. Historic area is close by too."

"The fireplace was nice, but only worked for 2 minutes at a time (& then only if you got on hands & knees to fiddle with it). Otherwise it was a comfortable, roomy room."

"We stayed for a single night during our road trip. The property features a highly convenient location and an exceptionally clean room. Parking right in front of the room made it easier to unload and load our vehicle. Prospective guests should note, however, that the bathroom sink is situated openly within the main living space, which may be an issue if you require absolute privacy or less disturbance to others."

"Room and staff were great, but skip the Continental breakfast. They had muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, grits and fruit. They had Eggo waffles and hard boiled eggs that were rubbery."

"Stayed here because there wasn't anywhere else to stay in town. The room, however, smelled strongly of cigarettes and had several burns in the comforter. The very kind gentleman at the front desk would have switched us to a different room, but they were completely full. Haven't stayed in a Super 8 in decades, so I think I will skip it next time."
