The hotel looks very nice from the outside and common areas are pretty. The staff was all very nice so they have that going for them. Our room was not clean at all. There was old carpet probably from the 70’s if I had to guess. It was terribly stained. there was a musty smell to the room. The mattresses are extremely old lumpy and uncomfortable! There is no fridge to keep drinks cold. No ice available. No coffee maker just a hot pot to make instant coffee. The cups were dirty and used. There was sticky stuff spilled on all night stands. I had to clean the night stands and bathroom myself before we could use anything. There was urine on the toilet as well as pubic hair.
The rooms get extremely hot and uncomfortable. The windows barely open and don’t allow any airflow. At one point it reached 34 degrees Celsius. That’s oppressive. We had high hopes for the pool area which was a let down as well. There is nowhere to sit in the pool area so it’s either stay in the pool or stand in the hot pool area to watch your child swim. Awful!
I had to check out after day 2 and find other accommodations for the remainder of our trip. What a nightmare. I’ve never been so uncomfortable in a hotel and I travel a lot!
