"When booking it does offer if you pay a bit more it would include free breakfast but once you arrive it’s not free breakfast you only get $10 a day credit towards your stay and their breakfast items start at $12.00 for something very simple and you need to charge to your room so you can get your $10 credit for breakfast. We never used the credit so we ended up paying more for our room for no reason. You also pay $15 a day to park in their garage. While the location is near most downtown eateries...

"We got there a little after checking and we tried to get into the building for like 20 minutes before anybody came down to let us in and check us in. We had to call corporate and they called someone to let us in because nobody was answering the doorbell onsite"

"The Star on Spring was one of the prettiest places I have ever stayed! It smelled amazing. Every detail had been thought of, even the towels and hairdryers were top of the line! They made our anniversary trip so special. The area around the hotel is such a cute, up and coming place area. Lots to do within a few blocks. We will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone we know! Thanks for a great weekend!"
