Everything about this hotel exceeds expectations. Starting with the warm welcome at reception, the staff are friendly and professional, the rooms are spacious and beautiful - including a large bathroom with rain shower and old fashioned claw tub. And the food is delicious. I would definitely stay here again. An historic gem of a hotel.

Best option in charming Graaf Reinet

Another great overnight stay at one of the best small hotels in South Africa. Large comfortable room tastefully decorated surrounded by magnificent surrounds and gardens all centrally located in the charming town of Graaf Reinet and just a short stroll from great coffee shops and points of interest.

The Gem in Graaff Reinet

Beautiful decorated rooms. Attention to detail you will find in the room and on the property. The food at the restaurant was also very good. Staff very friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Drosdy Hotel, Graaff Reinet

We only stayed overnight, but as usual everything was exellent, from the welcome to checking out. Staff all very friendly and well informed. The food was delicious, the breakfast spread was well stocked with many choices, hot and cold. When in Graaff Reinet we always stay at the Drosdy Hotel. They have added carports for parking which is a big plus when the weather is bad. I highly recommend the Drosdy Hotel

On arrival we decided to.upgrade to a.suite. the room was beautifully decorated, with lounge area and a fantastic bathroon. Lovely quiet patio with access to the large.car park ( secure). Pool area opposit our room, with towels. Hotel in centre of town with lovely gallery and wine shop attached. Bar is also lovely and cool All.staff friendly

Unique hotel! The room was great - comfortable and spacious. The reception staff was friendly. However, we were not completely satisfied with the quality of the dinner dishes, as well as the service provided by the breakfast personnel. They messed up the food orders a few times, and it took forever to get our coffees.

Room was beautiful. TV infront of the bed did not work. Staff did not show us around the property when we checked in. We had to find the gym, spa and restaurant ourselves. In the gym room there was no water and little towels. For a 5 star this is important. The room was beautiful and the bedding very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and the pool water is comfortable

What a wonder place to rest after a long drive. The rooms are huge with stunning en suite bathrooms. The bed is huge with crisp white linens. Loved the complimentary snack platter and wine. The surrounding property is beautiful and the restaurant and bar setting is just perfect. The food is delicious. I could have stayed eating breakfast for hours. Overall the service and the property is totally worth it. Wish we could have stayed longer. P.S. It's pet friendly and load shedding proof. Thanks guys!

The staff is the best hospitality staff that I have ever experienced. All of them give a new meaning to professional and courteous service. Nothing is too much. Always friendly and helpfull. Must be experienced to believe. Great hotel with fantastic rooms and facilities.
