A good quality holiday break at the Livvo Dunagolf
We stayed in the Live Dunagolf hotel for about 10 days, and enjoyed staying there. The hotel is nice and staff is very friendly. The bungalows are comfortable and clean. We stayed here the first week of February, and due to the nice weather we were able to spent quite some time at the poolside. During are stay (in Feb.) it was quiet and the other guests were also mainly older people, and there were no noisy kids around.

Ett utmärkt o lugnt bungalow Hotel i o runt Maspalomas 18-hålsgolfbana. Perfekt liten bungalow, sovrum, vardagsrum med kitchenet o bra kyl. Två uteplatser, bra Wi-Fi och en mycket bra AC ! Poolområdet lugnt o lyxig känsla, gott om solstolar o alltid flera lediga, ingen stress.Frukosten helt ok, fanns det mesta… Baren helt ok med vin öl o drinkar samt snacks o hamburgare hela dagen om du så önskade. En riklig middagsbuffé varje kväll för den som så önskade. Hotellets ”hårdvara” 10+ , mjukvara o service inte så bra….. 5/6+ bara, tråkiga receptionister…..o inte så serviceglada personer i restaurangen…..

Pro: - Friendly and helpful staff - Great heated pool - Plenty of lounge chairs by the pool - Free pool towels (10 euro bond) - Decent food in the restaurant - Bar by the pool Con: - The bungalow wasn't clean. Plenty of grimy corners. Daily cleaning seemed to consist of wiping down the counters, making the bed and maybe sweeping the floor a little. The bedding wasn't changed at all during our one week stay. Maybe the cleaning crew was understaffed and/or not properly instructed (dumping hairs in the toilet rather than in the bin is a surefire way to get it clogged) and/or supervised. - Ant problem (tiny pharaoh ants) in the bungalow, especially in the bedroom. I must have killed a couple hundred of them during our 1 week stay. They gave us poison to spray but it didn't help. Apparently the best way to get rid of them is proper cleaning... - The AC smelled horribly. Like rotting onions. - The restaurant seems to be understaffed. It's fine if you go for the (more expensive) buffet, but if you order a la carte, be prepared to do a lot of waiting.

Wir waren im Oktober 2023 im Livvo Dunagolf und haben sowohl positives, aber leider auch einiges negatives zu berichten. Zum Positiven: Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, ab 22 Uhr ist das Abendprogramm zu Ende ( jeden zweiten Tag Livemusik) und es gibt allzeit genügend Platz zum Parken, sodass man nie nach einem Parkplatz suchen musste. An der Rezeption arbeiten sehr sehr nette und herzliche Mitarbeiter. Uns wurde zu jeder Zeit sehr nett geholfen. Zum negativen: Das Hotel wurde wohl kürzlich vom drei Sterne Haus zum vier Sterne Haus, wobei es leider doch eher drei als vier Sternen entspricht. Nur das Gym und der Pool war inklusive, aber die ganzen Aktivitäten wie Billard, Tischtennis und sogar selbst der Zimmersafe war kostenpflichtig. Das größte Minus war für uns das Frühstück und Abendessen. Die ganzen Bungalows wurden zwar frisch renoviert, allerdings wurden die Frühstücksräume wohl vergessen. Alles war alt und teilweise auch heruntergekommen. Das Essen selbst wurde gefühlt eine Stunde vor dem Ende nicht mehr aufgefüllt, sodass man auf leere Platten stößt wenn man etwas später kommt. Es wurde leider auch nicht auf die Qualität der Speisen geachtet. Ich habe versehentlich eine komplett verschimmelte Quarkschnitte gegessen gefolgt von Bauchkrämpfen, Erbrechen und Kopfweh. Unser Zimmer wurde ein Mal vergessen zu reinigen, sodass es uns an Handtüchern und WC-Papier fehlte. Es war ok aber für uns wird es hier kein nächstes Mal geben.

Au delà nos espérances
Chambres rénovées et spacieuses dispersées autour des immenses parties communes de l’hôtel. Nous avons toujours été au calme sans utiliser certains espaces uniquement réservés pour les adultes alors meme qu’il y avait des familles avec enfants. Deux grandes piscines entièrement rénovées, un jacuzzi mais dommage il était franchement froid lorsque nous l’avons utilisé. Seul le restaurant n’a pas été rénové - dommage car il contraste avec le reste de la propriété. Bon point de chute pour visiter le reste de l’île, mais de part sa situation au milieu d’un golf (que nous ne distinguons même pas depuis l’hôtel), il vous faudra toujours la voiture ou un taxi pour se restaurer à l’extérieur.

Man braucht gar nicht so viel schreiben das Hotel war Spitze und es gab zu keiner Zeit Anlass zur Kritik. Wir waren mit 5 Personen dort und hatten zwei ausgezeichnete Zimmer mit sogar zwei Terrassen. Daumen hoch hier macht man nichts falsch Mfg H.R.

Great room, poor location and amenities
This hotel offers a fair value for money option in Maspalomas. Our room was spacious and clean, common spaces were very pleasant and the pool was great. When reserving it's worth bearing in mind that the hotel is quite far from anything else - if you don't have a car then taxis (which are widely available and cheap) will be needed to get to almost anything, including to get to the beach. There is a shuttle bus but it is infrequent. The range of facilities is good but some have suffered from under investment. The gym machines are quite old, the kitchenette was really just a sink and a microwave (no hotplate). Breakfast was not bad but other meals were quite underwhelming. Overall a good deal for the price, particularly for the nice room, but expectations should be managed for some other aspects.

Die Anlage ist schön und modern. Außerhalb der Anlage ist es leider sehr ungepflegt und vernachlässigt. Man merkt es beim Service (bspw. Zimmerreinigung unzureichend und nur 5 Tage die Woche) und bei der Qualität des Essens, dass dieses Hotel vor kurzem noch ein 3-Sterne-Hotel war und jetzt aus irgendwelchen nicht ersichtlichen Gründen ein 4-Sterne-Hotel ist. Im Vergleich zu anderen 4-Sterne-Hotels auf der Insel kann dieses Hotel nicht mithalten.

Lovely stay for the whole family, will come back
We had a good time here. Stayed for 3 nights. 1 kid, 1 dog, 2 adults. Would have loved to have no neighbours or be separated by a wall (as we like privacy) but that was possible if we upgraded and we thought maybe next time... . We were thankful to be able to bring our dog, really. Pets deserve a holiday too. Price was not bad at 50€ each (3) per night with breakfast included. Not into buffets but had a microwave, a fridge and a kettle so all good. No hobs so can't cook. However, we went to different restaurants in Maspalomas, Meloneras and enjoyed the change of scenery. We stayed from Monday to Thursday. It wasn't at full capacity which is how we like it. Will repeat! Families with dogs are separated into another area which is great for people who do not come with dogs I suppose. What would really make it even better than it is (and that's hard because it is already awesome) is a little pool for dogs. Hahha! Or showers for dogs.

A pleasant quiet resort. Excellent breakfast and service. Cleaning service in bungalow and 2 patio areas, an outside with beds, loungers and chairs and views of mountains in distance. Location not convenient. Either a walk along a long pavement and then over wasteland to main road or taxi to get anywhere.

Sehr gutes Hotel
Wir waren die letzten Tage vor der Corona-Schliessung dort. Obwohl nur noch ein Dutzend Gäste im Hotel waren, hat man uns gut umsorgt und alle Services aufrecht erhalten, so dass wir uns bis zum letzten Tag gut versorgt gefühlt haben. Alle waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend, obwohl sie gewusst haben, dass jetzt dann für 3 Monate geschlossen wird. Hut ab. Wenn alles vorbei ist, kommen wir wieder und das Hotel könnte zu unserem Favoriten werden. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Hotel très bien refait, suites grandes et confortables. Ménage pas toujours très bien fait. Ensemble hôtelier vraiment réussi, très belle rénovation. Par contre, le restaurant fait tâche, car il n’a pas été refait, c’est dommage...

Renovated spacious hotel
Great hotel for a small family with a car. Situated far from everything (except for golf courses), but clean, large and modern facility. The room/apartment was newly renovated and with good regular cleaning. The only minus was the 'plastic' sheets on the bed and the food at the restaurant, which was a bit dull.
