"The ClapClap is in a good location on the edge of Petite France and close to the train station. Room in the annex building was spotless and good value. However, the corridor from lift to room was really grubby. There was loose material on the very dark carpet, suggesting it had not been vacuumed in days. The colour scheme of very dark blue, allied to low intensity lighting, activated by movement made, everything look gloomy. Even the lift was predominantly black in decor. We did not eat here but breakfast looked good. Lemon tea and coffee in room but no milk provided. I don't really understanding that but was given a cup of milk at reception when i asked. This is a good, if quirky, hotel and staff were helpful and friendly. "
"Very convenient, right opposite train station. We had a superior room but prob didn’t need the sofa bed. Very comfortable sleep, shower, tea/coffee kettle. Modern & clean friendly staff. Used bar once was expensive"
"Everything about this hotel including the location, staff and customer service are excellent. Its my go to place and I book it every time I can when I am in Reims, 5 Stars and more an amazing place to stay."
"Guests are not allowed to use the refrigerator; if you want to use it, you have to pay 10 euros. I paid 250 euros per room per night. The minibar is off-limits; if you want to eat anything, you have to pay a 100 euro deposit. Most five-star hotels include this in the room rate. When I asked if they could remove items from the refrigerator so I could store yogurt and medicine, the hotel said they could, but I would have to pay an extra 10 euros. The room was very old. The air conditioning didn't work; I asked the hotel to fix it, but they sent a fan instead. The curtains wouldn't open. When showering, the hot water suddenly turned cold. This is a five-star hotel? It doesn't deserve five stars; two stars would suffice. I feel terrible; it was a really bad experience."
