"The location is great and the rooms are good but the service was disappointing. The front desk staff came across as snobby and unwelcoming. Simple questions were met with snappy responses, which made it feel like I was being talked down to instead of helped. There was also a basic billing issue that the staff could not handle properly. "Lovely room - very spacious. Comfortable, big bed. Shower had good water pressure which was nice. Didn’t use many of the amenities as we were there for sight seeing but lobby/bar was very nice, had a quick drink there. Only downside was the coffee they offered in the morning was very expensive and tasted awful. They should offer free coffee or if they’re going to charge that much, should offer options for better flavors (creamers, syrups etc). "

"This hotel is great! The best thing about it is the staff. Unfortunately, one of our party had a medical problem arise. Everyone helped us out in resolving the problem by providing information about local care, and transportation to and from the facility. Not something you want to have to think about on a vacation, but their support and assistance was greatly appreciated. "

The only ammentity I missed was a full length mirror. We did experience a bit of frustration after check-in. We could not access the elevator in the parking garage to get back into the property. "Two issues: hot water was not all that hot and the building fire alarm was having issues - it went off a 1AM when I was staying and the strobe light in my bathroom didn’t stop flashing until 8 AM. Fortunately maintenance disconnected the strobe in my room so I could sleep. I overheard the fire department say this was the 25th time they had been called to the property in 2026 on false alarms. This needs resolved "

"The hotel was nice and staff were very friendly. We only encountered 1 staff member who wasn’t as accommodating as others. We traveled with a young baby and the staff were helpful with our requests for additional services. They are responded quickly to any issues in the room. The hotel location is good, uber was reasonable as it’s close to DC, the train station is about a 2 (long) blocks away but easy walk, there are a variety of food establishments and CVS within walking distance. "This didn’t get 4 stars mainly due to the amenities. The “breakfast” is a pretty typical continental and at $22/person was a bit much in our opinion. The sushi bar on top was pretty decent food, but also pretty expensive and it took quite a long time to get any one to serve us as well as get any of our food.
