Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico
10/10 Excellent
"They offer a wide range of amenities. The pools are free, but you’ll need a day pass to the spa to access the hot tub. All of the restaurants were amazing—my favorite was Nectar. It’s the perfect place if you want to spend your entire stay at the resort, with plenty of things to do."

Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino - All Inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"The pool was comfy except for the fact it was April break? And there were many children with floats in the adult section of pool. Also I did not fully enjoy it due to my diarrheaabd stuff neck which started at time of check-in after consuming a Pork and Chicken soup."

Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort - All Inclusive

"Everything was nice!"

Hotel Riu Republica - Adults only - All Inclusive
4/10 Poor
"Well, first 2 days no cold water in room. Toilets wouldn’t flush, couldn’t shower. Petty, but no washcloths in room. Phone/TV did not work in room. Sinks leaked, so everything stayed wet. Mosquitoes were very present!
Food was always cold, very low quality. Steakhouse was only needed reservation, but was terrible compared to American quality steaks. They were maybe 1/4 thick. Similar to fast food burger. Chicken was very dry!! Fish, well I could not cut it with a knife!
Cleaning staff did service our rooms very well during the day. Bonus!!
Bar staff was pleasant, little miss communication sometimes. Expected.
Entertainment to us was not entertaining. Same ole same ole
I don’t think I would stay at this resort again.

Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"First I will like to start off by saying the staff here is amazing ! Franklin at the lobby bar was very nice to us from morning to night he kept us entertained with conversation and drinks. Also Fernando and Alfredo the bellmen at the entrance of the resort helped us out during our entire stay. With transportation and even recommendations for restaurants and places to go. Ashley at the front desk that checked us in was also very friendly and informative. I honestly want to say the downfall to this resort is not the people. The downfall is the FOODDDDD !!!! UGHHH! It’s disgusting ! We tried the buffet, the Mexican, the sports bar, and the Italian restaurant, everything was horrible. They have no Dominican food everything is Americanized and it is horribly done. Every night we had to pay money for transportation to a restaurant to eat. We tried to eat the food but we always ended up leaving because it was too salty or had no seasoning. The food was never hot it always came out cold or semi warm. The only good thing was the cheese burgers and deserts. They also did not have bottle water anywhere on the resort except the lobby bar or you can call room service. It’s just annoying that you have to bring your own water to dinner or leave the restaurant to go get a bottle water. If you are a foodie and plan on staying at the resort your entire stay I do not recommend this resort. The pools were great. The rooms were great. Spacious living room, 2 bathrooms, 2 king size beds. Loved it"

Serenade All Suites - Adults Only Resort
8/10 Good
"Spent a week at the Serenade All-Suites in Punta Cana (adults only) April 21-28. We did not purchase the Elite package & I feel it was not needed. We did get the Elite check-in & a butler which was a perk of Expedia (they said). Glady, Chayrel & Jorge were great! Being on the adult side, we had access to the family side, except the à la carte restaurants. We also had access to the rooftop pool/bar & we had a free hydrotherapy session that we did book for the day before coming home via the lady outside the family side buffet but when we got there, they said we were not booked! The resort was beautiful. Most of the staff was very nice & friendly. Some staff not so much but it was probably the language barrier since we don’t speak Spanish. Had trouble getting extra washcloths & restocking of beer in the minibar - I did have to call guest services for more washcloths & our butler for more beer! The pools are nice size. The beach is wide & the water is shallow for quite a while so you can walk out quite far. There are no big waves. It got a little wavy sometimes with the wind but it was a warm wind. The weather was beautiful all week. There is some seaweed but the workers do rake it up each day - it’s not bad though. We tried all the Adult side restaurants & they were all good. The entertainment was lacking but the resort’s entertainment staff was very fun! We would return to this resort!"
