"This property is pictures and actual condition is quite opposite. Toilets are stained and every where there are cockroaches and spider webs. we had reservation for 4 nights and we could not stay in the property for few minutes also. we reached out to the property management and we got no responses and I had to find a hotel in mid night as I came into the city late. "The area is good and easy access to public transportation. The property looked newly renovated and was clean except for dishes/utensils put away dirty.
BUT the temperature inside and outside was 28 degrees and no AC. No screens on windows so for 2 nights the 3 of us got poor sleep. We were able to find a fan and use it but that was little help. We contacted the apartment managers (Zodiac) about AC and never got any response.
Also the washer/dryer was ridiculously complicated. No instructions...

"Good location in Ponsonby and good room. Tricky to check in with a car as nowhere to pull in. I was on ground floor and had an issue with someone knocking on my door at 11pm and banging loudly and yelling aggressively and I had to phone reception twice to get someone to help them. "Cheap and cheerful. Great for overnight stay before catching early flight in morning. Lots of shops and cafes near by. Plus the supermarket. Szimpla gastropub next door was great! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms are small but it's all you need for an airport overnight stay. Very convenient for airport and you could easily walk to the airport if you wanted. We got the airport bus which stops at the hotel every 30 mins 24/7. Would highly recommend it for all the reasons above."
