"Such a beautifully designed and furnished hotel in a stunning location. The woods that the hotel is situated in makes for an excellent walk and is incredibly peaceful. The room was really clean and quiet with the balcony looking out into the forest to get that fresh air. I was staying there for work due to its proximity to the airport and am seriously considering returning for a little holiday."

"Fantastic hotel in brilliant location. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a bit different but wonderful and servers were always offering more. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and would highly recommend although there are many nice restaurants nearby. Loved everything about hotel Balthazar and would definitely book again next time in Krakow."

"Disapppointing - not a warm welcome but most staff do speak basic English. Breakfast was ok. Cleaned room 2 out of 4 days (should be everyday but said they forgot). No kettle facilities - charged over £2 per cup of tea. We had to move rooms due to location and awful smell of drains in bathroom. School coaches of teenagers stayed who were still running around and shouting in the early hours of the morning and the hotel basically turned a blind eye as they filled the hotel. Food is great at the bistro just down the road (Prakus). Constant taxis (bolt) into centre as little to do nearby (which may suit some!). Best bit was that the check out was 12pm as we had a later flight home. Wouldn't stay there again - don't be fooled by the word 'hotel'!"
