"My biggest complaint is that there is no personal touch and you never meet any staff and have to figure out things on your own. We were constantly referred to the reception but there never was anyone at reception. We’re not able to use the safe in the room because there was a sign that said ask reception for the PIN but no one was there. We were lucky to bump into the cleaning lady who showed us how to use the keys but her English was poor. All communication is done through WhatsApp. Reply...

"Det var ett mindre rum men som hade allting man kunde tänka sig, balkong dusch och kök. Rummet kändes som att det var i princip nyrenoverat och överensstämde med bilderna. Placeringen av boendet var grymt sjukt nära till busstationer samt färjan som gick iväg till öarna med kristallklart vatten. Jag kan varmt rekommendera detta boende!"

"Stay away there were cockroaches in the unit
When i told the owner he advised that its an old building
It had a computer monitor for tv it was suppose to have a 32 inch tv
There was suppose to. Be a dryer as the listing states but it didn’t have only a washer
The refrigerator was to be full size it was a under fridge
I can say t he r only good thing about it was good location
We left 3 days early of a five day stay
Avoid! Avoid!"

"The owner did an amazing transformation of an old noble family residence. The facility provided a very satisfying breakfast in quantity and variety. Especially appreciative the local, family produced jams and fruits. The owner was very attentive and provided us with very useful information about eating establishments and landmarks.
I would use the facility again."

However the hotel is isolated, and the area around it run down.
€25 each way in a taxi to the centre of Marsala. Only a supermarket across the road , and no food available other than breakfast."
