I booked this hotel last night, and at no point during the main booking process was it clearly stated that check-in closes at 7:00 p.m. This is a crucial restriction that should appear visibly before payment. I was driving from Lisbon and informed the hotel immediately, but they refused to offer any flexibility, not even something simple like leaving the key in a lockbox—something most hotels can easily arrange.
Instead, I received repeated messages saying there is no option at all after 7:00 p.m., which made the reservation completely unusable for us. Despite this being an information issue on their side, they also refused to refund the booking and showed no real effort to accommodate the situation.
As a traveler who came all the way from Canada, I found the lack of cooperation and customer service extremely disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects professionalism, flexibility, or basic customer care. Please double-check all hidden rules before booking—because they will not support you if anything goes wrong.
