"We picked this for our 2 night memorial weekend stay. It was so close to Hilton heads beaches it worked perfect for us!! Ample parking, a pool, luggage carts, nice room. Only thing in the queen bed rooms that sucks is the bathroom sliding door is terrible. Either it gets stuck and you have to try to get out or it doesn’t stay fully closed. "First the positives. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine. I think the problem that I had with Spark is that it's listed as a Hilton facility. This raises expectations. Honestly, it's more like what you would expect from a nice Super-8 than a Hilton. The carpet and furnishings are very bare-bones. The pool is tiny. "Great location, close to a lot of attractions, restaurants and shopping. Staff was great throughout our whole stay, and the facility was clean. Room and bathroom were clean with plenty of supplies, they even provided wipes and sanitizer in room. Office provided fresh fruit, muffins, snacks, water and coffee throughout the day. "The room was clean, but the cleaning staff left their broom and dust pan in the room. There was no bath soap, I called the front desk and they said they would have someone bring some up. That was on our first night, we never got bath soap. The location was nice. The beach and restaurants were all within walking distance."

"Suffice it to say we did not have a good stay. In fact this hotel nearly ruined my attitude for our entire vacation. I had planned a long review to describe the issues, but my wife convinced me to let it go. However, my bottom line is that I will never stay at an AC Hotel again and we will tell all of our friends to avoid them as well."

"I hate having to write reviews like this but wanted to be fair to other travelers. We booked this facility to attend an event for one night over the Memorial Day weekend. At $270 a night, and an overall rating of 8/10, we expected a clean well equipped room. What a suprise!! No hanging space available. Broken floor tile. A bathroom door that was rotted at the bottom and would not close. Bathroom fixtures from the 1950's with holes in the wall and tile grouting that was performed by an amature. A...

"The check-in staff was helpful and quick. The room was large, clean, and updated. The grounds were well-kept, the pool area was small but well-organized, and the fitness center was one of the largest I’ve ever used in a hotel. The breakfast was good with many hot and cold options. My wife’s only complaint was that the coffee in the lobby wasn’t good. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area again!"
