This hotel is just wonderful. A great view of the mountains and a nice break to relax in between Osaka and Tokyo. Would definitely recommend and would come back! The food was also delicious and the staff was very attentive to our family and kids!

Nice place for a family to stay in Hakone. Nothing really in walking distance, but the hotel does provide a free shuttle service, including from Odawara so contact them too find out more.

Really loved the vibe of this property! The staff is very attentive and welcoming. The room was gorgeous, the hot bath incredible, and the convenience of their shuttle service back to Odawara station (and to other parts of Hakone) was perfect.

Hotel is nice and location is good too. The fireplace was the highlight of the stay. Sipa glass of red wine hearing the firewood burn. However the room was not well maintain and there are insects.

Excellent service, checking in was fast and friendly. The rooms are large and luxurious with a “Zen” feeling. Breakfast & dining were very good, We tried the onsen, it was outstanding, after this you really feel born again. But most important and probably the best reason to book this hotel is because of the staff, they gave us top service and were so kind and gave us the best tips for sightseeing

We loved our stay at Hyatt recency Hakone. The staff members are very nice, patient, polite, helpful, and very thoughtful. The free shuttle service between the hotel and Odawara, Sounzan, and Gora stations were so convenient. The hotel room was big and beautiful. Beds were comfortable. The shuttle service is very nice and it is a beautiful property. The ambiance and service is first class upon arrival and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The food we had was delicious but not different from room service and limited day time options. The onsen is great but people should teach their children to be quiet in the spa area. The only negative on service was we came in from the cold rain at 2:30, asked for the living room fire to be turned on in living room and were told no. For a high end property like this, it’s nice to cater to client needs if it’s reasonable (not sure an extra hour of fire going should be a big deal, but maybe it’s just me!)
