Holiday Inn Express & Suites Roanoke Rapids SE by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very cozy. Also, the breakfast was hearty, tasted well and provided a good number of options. The staff person who prepared breakfast was also extremely attentive."
"True honesty review… you can tell the place had been renovated and upgraded in some areas. Front desk and dining area very nice. Rooms very nice. Hallway needs upgrade. The hallway had a small dank smell but it was most likely because it still had carpet. The room… very nice. Very roomy. Very clean. Only 3 issues with the stay. . 1. The fridge did not work in our room but that didn’t bother me. 2. The box spring in my room needs to be replaced. The bed was still comfortable though. 3. The breakfast selection was very limited. No hot food. Only selections were cereal, muffins, bread for toast and yogurt. We decided to stay because we just needed a place to sleep for the night and the price was amazing. Overall is was still a good stay for what we needed.
Side note: there was high traffic of homeless people who use this hotel."
"Found two roaches in the room. Breakfast was not available. Charged me twice for the room. Hotel was not the same outside as the inside of the hotel. Would not recommend this hotel"
"The room was very clean and provided a comfortable stay. The only thing it was missing was a room safe. Otherwise no complaints. Breakfast was excellent and a spacious eating area. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location off the highway. Will definitely stay again when in the area."
"When we checked in it seemed to be ok. The man at the desk was very nice. We picked a king room with a couch to relax on. We checked into room 216 on the quiet side of hotel. We were shocked how the room looked. The couch had so many stains on it I would not sit on it. It looked like someone spilled all over it and it had holes stitched together. The chairs had stains going down it. The rug looked like it had burns on it in several places. The bed was clean and the bathroom was clean. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I can say the only good thing was their was a cracker barrel around the corner."
