"Upon arriving to this property on 04/17/2026, a 7 hour drive we were informed about a fire that took place on 03/10/2026 the day we booked. Unsure as to how we were still able to book we were called a couple of hours before getting to our destination. There were two representatives behind the desk who were rude including the manager who got on the phone advising that she’d cancel the hotel reservation that was already canceled due to not being informed about a fire that took place a month ago. Upon my last day, there were workers working on the hotel room next to the one I occupied and upon walking out on the balcony the worker advised to open the door, that’s when someone else came inside the hotel room and started prepping for paint with thick blankets on the steps while my family was occupying the hotel room. There was a baby that had to be carried down the steps and we were afraid we would fall on the steps because of the blankets. I called and spoke with someone from corporate number who started a claim but I have yet to hear back. I will be contacting corporate again as I have pictures of the worker in the hotel room. That was in fact an invasion of privacy, that was at 9:00am in the morning and per policy check out is at 11am and I felt as if we were forced to leave. Let’s also add the fact that we never received clean towels. This was my first time in Ohio and I honestly would NOT recommend Sonesta suites to anyone traveling to the Sharonville area."
