"Do not book! I’m not a picky traveler but this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We were looking for just a quick stopover spot on a trip to the Outer Banks. We checked in late afternoon and then left for the day; around 8 when we returned we noticed that the blanket, sheets, and towels were dirty. They didn’t have clean ones to replace them; the manager put us off for about 45 minutes and after repeated bugging him said it was our fault for not noticing immediately when we checked in....

"We knew what to expect from this older motel. The location was great. The people were helpful. We had plenty of room. The pool was nice and cool on a hot day. Perhaps I am too particular about my bed, but I could not get comfortable. It hurt my back. We did not have a pet, but this is one of the few places that allow pets."
