"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Du Lac in Hanoi. Thomas, the hotel manager, was pleasant and accommodating and went out of his way to find us a tour guide. The staff were all friendly and can speak conversational English, which is a bonus. The hotel is located in the Old French Quarter which is near to the night market and some tourist attractions such as the famous train street and St. Joseph’s Cathedral. I highly recommend staying in this hotel if you want to make the most of your stay in Hanoi."

"The hotel was like many others but the breakfast, while no overly abundant, was very tasty. And the coffee was top shelf. In addition, the staff was helpful, friendly, and a delight to meet. In addition, the AC worked like a charm. I would stay again."

"Hotel is located right on beer street. Just a few feet is the beer street blocked off from traffic so this street is lively with people always. The staff is great. They made sure our stay was perfect by booking a restaurant and giving recommendations. The sky bar is a good place to just grab drink while over looking the Hanoi skyline. Definitely a hotel with great value"
