"Nice clean room. Hot shower, soft bed, and a working mini fridge. Enjoyed the balcony, which faces the street. When I booked the room, I thought it said "mountain view" which is true, but a bit of a stretch. Restaurant is pretty good; staff are polite. Check-in was a bit rushed; otherwise, no problems."

"Positives - friendly, helpful staff, reasonably priced and well located on the lake. Breakfast was pretty good. The young guy on reception was particularly helpful and polite Negatives - we had booked a delux room but as hotel busy, we were given a very poor room despite having pre advised the hotel it was our anniversary. Spoke to manager and paid for an upgrade to best room the following day which was much better In summary, an average hotel in need of modernising/ refurbishment but ok...

Hotel is perched atop hill just outside of town. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the town is a nice 20 stroll down the hill. Staff hooked us up with a great driver for day trip to Sigiriya. Great place to stay!"

Quality of hotel quite basic but good given the budget price, didn’t have any food so can’t comment on this. Would go back again especially if wanting a more budget option in Kandy. "

The staff were very friendly and helpful, including the restaurant staff, who were great, welcoming, and very attentive. Breakfast options were somewhat limited, but still decent.
