"For those who are looking for a clean, accessible, and beautiful hotel stay, the Sela V is a great choice for staying in Brooklyn. Our group was made up of four travelers, and we were able to comfortably stay in the room with four bunk beds, which all included a blackout privacy curtain, an outlet, a flip up bedside table, and a light inside. The staff were also extremely helpful and kind, and made our stay here a breeze. Overall, I adored this hotel.
Unfortunately, there was one important element that prevented the experience from being a five star one. Not only was there very blatant AI usage for some of the hotel’s promotional materials (such as a large banner in the lobby advertising an event), the “art” that was hung on the walls of the hallways where the rooms were was almost entirely AI as well. For a hotel that was otherwise extremely well decorated and maintained, the rampant use of AI was unprofessional, sloppy, and very disheartening. As a guest, it is important to me that the places I am staying maintain a sense of artistic integrity and aesthetic quality. By using AI, it gives the message that this hotel is willing to sacrifice those qualities.
Our stay was otherwise a lovely one, and could easily become a five star stay in the future if human made art was featured instead. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who helped to make our stay possible!"
