"This was a weird hotel, but maybe I’m just old. It is a very high tech (tech sort of worked) and secret agent like. Rooms are very tiny, however close to the airport and a close walk. I thought it was expensive for such a small room and lack of staff. I would not stay here again, I’ll just pay the extra 75-100$ to stay at the Hilton."

When I arrived for check-in, the employee did not clearly explain how to get to the first floor or where to take the elevator, which made the arrival confusing. The room was extremely small, much smaller than what was shown in the photos online. It felt cramped and did not match my expectations. "The hotel is very nice and well located as an overnight near the airport however there were a few issues worth noting. First the booking website mentioned a free airport shuttle but what it fails to mention is it is only free from the airport to the hotel. They charge 5 euros for the return to the airport and you have to book ahead. That was not helpful for us who were using the hotel as an overnight before flying home. Second, the staff made quite a point of the roof top bar when we arrived...

"Why do we have to go through all the registration procedure entering data ourselves manually after having given all the info when booking? The room had a bed a shower (of sorts) and a toilet that was hard to access due to space restrictions - a narrower corridor or turning the toilet 90 degrees would make it so much easier. No tea/coffee or drinking water facilities is very poor. This was booked as more than the most basic facilities in Amsterdam....."
