"Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed."

"The staff was very friendly helpful. The room was huge, clean, quiet, wifi great, all the meals I had was tasty and well presented. I noticed that the service at the pool was very slow and it took forever to pick up the dirty dishes. I am not sure if the manager is giving enough guidance"

"The rooms were clean, the pool was sublime, the facilities had complete kitchen and fridge as well as washer and dishwasher. We booked a superior room and they had prepared the sofa bed for our child too. The breakfast was amazing as well as security was top notch. I wished we had known about the wine tasting as that would have been perfect if we didn’t have to venture out to Franschoek or other parts of Stellenbosch. "The other guests moving furniture upstairs late into the night - some rubber pads fixed onto the legs of the chairs to prevent them scraping on the floor could be a possible solution."
