"There were no cocktails to be had At All ! The pillows need changing as they are like bricks and the Showers need a shower mat as it becomes very, very slippery. This is a shame, because everything else was Great."

"The Royal Oak has a wonderful location in a quiet village setting and visitors can expect a relaxing change of pace. The countryside around is spectacular for England and the people are without exception friendly and helpful. "Cameron (owner) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area, he also prepared a great breakfast. Our room was on the top floor, a comfortable and decent size room and large bathroom, it also had sea views across the harbour Our visit was for a birthday celebration, we were given a card and a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was a nice touch and much appreciated.
