"What a gem! Me and my friend came to stay and had a lovely visit. Owner and staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Room was light, airy and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel is a stones throw from the town. We will visit again. Thank you"

"Lovely hotel, restaurant, bar, in an excellent location for shopping etc in Rye. Very good value for money.
There is no free car parking but the pay & display/RINGO is immediately next door and less than a tenner a day.
We can highly recommend this hotel."

"Lovely Hotel at the top of Rye close to the church and the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel."

"Room, bathroom and bedding were very clean. Room had lovely sea views as it was on the 4th floor. There are no lifts so the hotel might not be suitable for the elderly or disabled. The TV didn't work in our room, we were offered a different room but we refused. We were, however, able to watch TV in an unoccupied room. The staff were friendly but quite often nowhere to be seen. "This is definitely not a 4 star hotel! It is over priced. The rooms are small as is the shower room. The hotel needs updating. It is expensive and definitely don't book breakfast. We were not asked what we would like for a cooked breakfast. Instead this was placed in front of us within 2 minutes of us sitting down! It had been sitting around and definitely not cooked to order.
