"We had a lovely stay at Amelia Cottage while visiting family in Battle. Such a nice and warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained with many flowers. The location is perfect, it is close to the playground and to Battle High Street. The local supermarket Jempsons is only a few minutes walk away and that was also very handy. We will definitely book again!"

"very close to the beach, just over the road, its better less stony if you walk about 10 mins to the right, about 5 min walk to reception, lodge is located in a quiet park of the park, I always take a tv as my son is socially anxious, and didnt leave the lodge at all, until we left, I felt it would of been useful to have a tv in the double room, as my son took over the only tv, with his xbox, and i got sent to my room, to watch tv, it was nice having the decking outside, could do with outdoor...

"A fantastic place to stay. The location is quiet and it’s less than a mile from the centre of Rye and an easy walk into town. The standard of finish in the property is excellent and had everything we needed for a short stay. I highly recommend this property. "The cottage was very nice and clean and in a good location to explore Rye and the surrounding area. The cottage was small and could be improved with a couple of things. The kitchen table has a wobble, a tea towel and extra toilet roll would be nice. In the hot weather, we struggled to open a window, however a fan was provided which helped. The complimentary biscuits were a nice touch. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this accommodation."
