"I did not realise that we were staying in a plantation village, with multiple accommodation. I had made a request for two beds and, as it was a slow time of year, we got two bedrooms. Pahala is a very cute town (and currently the only one with a grocery store as the one in Naalehu was no longer as at 28 Jan 25). The people were also really friendly. "This was exactly what our little family needed. Cozy, clean, comfortable. It came stocked with random toiletries I’m guessing were left by previous guests. (Thanks to whoever bought the aloe lotion by the way). As well as some beach gear, a plethora of towels and a few useful kitchen items. Checked into a hotel on the other side of the island and immediately missed the quiet little house where I could listen to the interesting night wildlife. The house is older by well maintained. "Very clean, has everything you need to stay for a week. Large space, big enough for 6 people. Nice location, close to Volcano NP. Water pressure is a bit lacking."

"Convenient & quiet location "

"The rental house was in good condition, and it was obvious there are some improvements underway. The exterior of the rental had just been painted (the paint was still drying) when we arrived. The interior was very well kept with more than enough space for the four of us in our family. The location was tucked down into a small residential neighborhood approximately 15 minutes to downtown Kona."
