"We were situated in the older tower, but had a great view of bay. It was more difficult to find and navigate to hotel restaurant due to lack of any signage, and that our more obvious route was outside. Hilo is, after all, the rainiest city on the planet. Took us a wet try, and getting info to "maze" back to the older tower from restaurant staff. We suggest better signage, or info in room. "There was a leak in the room and the floor was wet when we arrived. Requested the staff to move us to different room but instead of moving us they sent the maintenance crew which tried to fix the problem until midnight and was a big impingement on the privacy. Next day when we called the staff about the status, they had no clue about the troubleshooting done by maintenance crew previous day. "The bed was way too old…I flipped the mattress…didn’t really help…the guys at the big slide was on his phone 90%of the time, my 6 year old had to literally interrupt him to see if it was ok for her to go down the slide. 👎👎 The Luau was amazing!
