"The room was the most poorly equipped condo we have ever stayed in. Very few kitchen utensils, tiny skillets, tiny coffee pot. No food storage bags or covered containers. Rusty freezer. The outside facilities were nice, clean pool and hot tub, nice gas grills. Not enough umbrellas for shade. Stayed in E3, below street level. Would not recommend."

"The condo was dated. 2” Ceramic tile counters kitchen and bath. Wall to wall carpet dirty. Old kitchen appliances. Limited kitchen ware. Expect to bring everything, salt, plastic wrap, supplies. No beach chairs. Patios outside were nice; views from all windows were exceptional. Pool was comfortable with lots of loungers, umbrellas, tables and chairs. We had no contact with any staff, except friendly gardeners. "

"Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Fridge/freezer was much larger than the under counter units in bigger chain hotels. There was even a washer/ dryer. Better than an Extended Stay in that regard. Hotel manager was easily accessible by phone to answer questions and deal with a complicated booking situation. Got it resolved quickly and extremely favorably. Parking...

"We have stayed at the destination twice and it is quiet and relaxing. The condos vary in quality so I tecomm nd calling the managing co Is y if you want a particular standard, rely remodeled, etc."

"Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout. The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop. The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable. Useful kitchen appliances if you were thinking of...
