"I would rate **El Ranchero Hotel** 4 out of 5 stars.
For the price, this is a good, moderate hotel that offers solid value. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, better than at many places where I've stayed. They always seemed happy to assist with anything I needed.
The bed was very clean, the sheets were fresh, and the bedding quality was better than I expected for this price range. The soap and shampoo were basic, similar to what you find in most budget...

"I mean for the price you get what you pay for. We weren’t in the room for much time but it was all pretty gross, the floors were disgusting, the sheets had stains, the shower had pink mold. It was honestly disappointing, but we didn’t have anywhere else to stay."

"This was hands down the sleaziest hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in. The non smoking room was filled with second hand smoke being filtered from the broken ac unit connecting to the outdoor hallway where people smoked.
There was a brown smudge on the TP roll. There was graffiti behind the TP roll.
The desk attendant was behind bullet proof glass, and would not open it until I gave her my id and my partners id and license plate.
There was a tweaker in the foyer where I checked in.
We left...
