"First of all, I think the property listing on Expedia should be removed. It was an hour + cab ride from the airport (100 uds), even the cab driver said he had never been to that part of osaka. Then, 3 flights of stairs with luggage, no elevator, impossible to figure out the key to get in, chef from the restaurant next door had to contact them and get it figured out, in japanese, of course. The room was musty and smelled of mildew, took half a day with a/c full blast and patio door open to...

Frequently asked questions

What's it like to stay at an apartment in Heguri?
You might not have many choices within the heart of Heguri, but Expedia can help you search for accommodation within the larger area with similar amenities to an apartment. When you search for a place to stay on Expedia, you can use the filters to search for a kitchen— one of the conveniences often found in an apartment. You can also filter by similar property types like holiday homes, condos or cabins. Visit some favourite places in the wider area such as Dotonbori and Universal Studios Japan.
How do you know if an apartment is a good option for your stay?
Often offering more space than a traditional hotel room, an apartment comes equipped with a kitchen, so you can cook some of your meals. Apartments are great for families looking for the conveniences of home, and also for solo travellers who want to stay in at night and plan out their next day.
What can I expect from the weather when I travel to Heguri?
Although weather is just one factor, it can really affect your travel plans, especially when you are planning a longer stay in Heguri. The hottest months are usually August and July, with an average temperature of 25°C, while the coldest months are January and February, with an average of 7°C. The rainiest months in Heguri are July, June, September and August, with each month seeing an average of 224 mm of rainfall.
What should I see and do in Heguri?
While exploring the area, visit family-friendly sights like Universal Studios Japan, or get outside and enjoy nature at Kongo-Ikoma Quasi-National Park. Dotonbori and Osaka Castle are other popular places to visit in the area.
What's the best way to get to and around Heguri?
Knowing a bit about the transportation options can save you time when you get to your destination. Fly into Osaka (ITM-Itami), which is located 17.8 mi (28.6 km) from the city centre. Otherwise, look for flights into Kobe (UKB), which is 25.9 mi (41.7 km) away. If you'd like to venture out around the area, you may want a rental car for your journey.
