"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "

"I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff."

This is a beautiful old building. It was one of the first generating stations in Germany. You can have guided tours and once a year it hosts a classic music festival. It's located at the end of the 'Hengebachstraße'. You can drive past it end then up the hill towards the Landal Park (accommodations)
