"I will NEVER return here! If you are wise, this is a “no-go!” old hotel; bathtub water drip (full stream),housekeeping marked room ready, &it was as far from it, this occurred 3 of my 4 days there. Did not empty trash, bring clean towels, or TOILET TISSUE. No Frig.No microwave. One sink bathroom. No plugs for my electronic devices. No place to hang towels or lay anything in the bathroom. The window seal became the towel rack and makeup hygiene station. The TV did not work. Found out the light switch by the door controlled it, and the light that puts a glare in your face all the time. The bed was less than 2 ft from the door; it did not feel calming.There was a coffee station on the desk, so there was no workspace, and one chair in a double room. No light near the mirror, which made it nearly useless. The Restaurant &I use that term loosely. They did not have most of the food listed on the menu. Food horrible. Food was served cold, and it took a long time to get it, every order, every time! Cold, grainy coffee,repeatedly. The last straw, my breakfast was served with an end piece of bread; hard as a brick &cold. No straw for my Coke! Who runs out of straws? I should have left the first day. I kept thinking things would get better, but they did not! Valet guys were wonderful. Night housekeeper Connie was supper with a good attitude as she took the heat for the day-crew's mess-ups. It's misery cost me over $1254.81 PLUS an additional $200 to park; hotel has Valet parking only!"

"I was there for a conference. The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast, so I can't comment on that. No issues with parking. The only issue was that I wasn't told there would be a $100 hold on the credit card. Overall, everything was great. I would recommend this hotel."

"Came to the hotel at 10:30 at night only to be told our reservation was canceled. That was not done on our end. Then was told a different story that our rooms were canceled because of a maintenance problem. Absolutely no help in finding us alternate lodging. We were also told that a cancellation notice was sent to us. Again, not true. Never received. Orbitz and this Sonesta owe me an explanation and should make this right with some sort of compensation. "

"It was easy to find right off I65 and in a very safe and clean area with a few restaurants near by. Bed was a little firmer than I like but room was nice and clean."

"A fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. I woke disoriented, called the front desk, no answer, walked out to hallway where a few other guests gathered, afraid to take stairwell down to lobby from 4th floor, eventually took elevator and when I arrived to lobby firemen were roaming around, reported 'all clear' so we returned to our rooms. No word at checkout from hotel staff (apology, inconvience, how was stay?) I don't think I will stay beyond 1st floor at any roadside travel hotel. The hotel was clean but noisy."

"Good things first: HOLY water pressure! The water pressure is AMAZING for the shower. The location is awesome—close to a lot of things and easy access to highways. Having said that, I’m unsure how this property is rated as high as it is. Room smelled strongly of mold and used oil. It hits you like a wall the moment you walk in. Had exactly one standard sized towel person, and when requested the front desk attendant for one more, she first asked if I had extra people in my room. When I said no, she insisted I bring her the used towel to get a new one. Bring the front desk a used towel from the building across the yard that the rooms are in to get an extra bath towel. Yes. There were used loofas in the bathroom. Furniture was old and chipped. Curtains would not close all the way. No soap to use at the sink. Makeup remover things had brown sticky stains on them. The courtyard had more than one person openly smoking weed sitting right next to the walkway. Night time and day time. You had to walk through the smoke to get to the building. Picnic tables were trashed with empty soda bottles and chips bags. Carpets everywhere, especially the stairwell, had stains all over. Breakfast left much to be desired. I would say “you get what you pay for,” and I’m a fairly frugal traveler, but this place wasn’t cheap enough for what it offers. Tragic situation in there. Don’t stay at this place."
