The couple who owned the hotel were friendly and semi professional. The whole place is clean but neads a serious upgrade. It is stuck in a time warp from the 70's. The room was very small for two single beds, it should be a single room. Floors uneven snd slope so you think your at sea. The plugs are situated at tge end of the bed so very very inconvenient and unexceptable. I use a cpap machine for sleeping and had to plug it in at the end of the bed. Then I wanted to charge my phone and had to unplug the TV. Just not thought through for the modern age. Beds were rickety and squeaky. Mattress was old and lumpy, lost its spring along with pillows. I kept thinking bed was going to collapse. Toilet kept filling up forever after flashing, Woodchip wallpaper painted in builder's magnolia in room and the whole place actually. Food was tasteless and very oily. Cooked breakfast took a bath in oil and sausages were seamed to be boiled rather than fried i love to try these independent hotels but this one drove me back to the chained hotels.
