"The couple who own this inn are incredibly sweet and hospitable. I also had one of the most delicious bites of food I've ever had in my life - order the hida beef skewer with the rice and pickles. Also private onsen was the perfect thing after lots of walking in the cold."
"You can’t do much better than this when staying in Takayama. Right next to the station and walking distance to key attractions. The family suite was amazing and my daughters loved the camping play room and projector. The breakfast was perfect and the staff couldn’t be any more helpful. Great value stay!"
"This family-run guesthouse is a good half-hour walk from the train station, although there are buses every hour from 9:00 to 18:00 (6:00pm) that stop at the bottom of the hill. The establishment can sometimes pick you up or drop you off.
