"Stayed for a week. The service was good, but the breakfast could’ve been much nicer. It’s hard to enjoy a peaceful breakfast when construction noise is basically part of the morning menu. Overall, a decent stay, just not quite the relaxing atmosphere I expected."

While things have changed around the villas since we were there last in 2018, it still offers the peace and tranquillity and wonderful obliging staff as always. The View Suite still offers the amazing rice field and mountain views and having breakfast on the veranda was a favourite time of day for us. "Staff were fantastic . Unfortunately plumbing went awry and our.room stunk of sewerage,getting so bad we had to ask the move rooms. Staff were happy to accommodate this but we had to ask as the cleaning staff just acted like the room was fine. No hot water on the last day. Quiet and out of the way but obviously has both some teething and ongoing maintenance issues. These things ruined our stay there."
