"Clean, Spacious and well stocked room. Hotel is quiet, Breakfast is good (Bacon and eggs). Staff was great to deal with and extremely helpful & friendly. We added an additional room the second night for our kids and it was seamless. Have stayed here twice now and will stay again the next time I'm in Barrie. "

"We were extremely happy with the room. The staff were amazing and helped us in any way they could. The breakfasts were well laid out and very fresh. The coffee was the best and all customers were commending how good it was. The counter staff printed out directions to attractions and restaurants we wanted to use. We will stay at Stone Gate Inn on our next visit to Orillia,"

"I will get over some of the thing's where this place can make an improvement such as housekeeping. The fridge was really dirty. I did call the front desk about it. One of the curtains was ripped. The iron was leaking water, and the exhaust fan in the washroom was making too noise, but front desk was notified about everything because the overall experience at this place was great. I did not mind staying at this place. The place and surrounding area is serene, quiet and beautiful Lakeview with a lot of activities for the kids. They have the pool and spa. A lot could be done and a lot of options for hiking, walking boating, canoeing, and boat paddling. The restaurant also has good food although they might want to add some flavour like salt(again food was cooked to perfection) I ordered Pickerel dish and kids had fish and chips that was so so good and burger… food tastes amazing. all things aside I will still recommend this place and I will def. give thus place another chance."
