"Absolutely beautiful home. I felt like I was going back in time. I spent Thanksgiving night there and did not encounter another living soul during my visit. Walking through the house was an undescribable feeling, as if I both did and did not belong there (yes a was a guest --but in the wrong century!). Time travel. VERY cool. the most modern technology downstairs was a turntable. Loved the antiques and the bed that you needed a stool to climb up on. Also every detail, from the newspapers talking about Admiral Peary in the sitting room, to the photos of his family that graced my room which was, of course, the Admiral's quarters.
I did not linger in any of the common areas because the rest of the house was quite chilly but I was only there between seven p. m. and eight a. m. The library and the sitting areas look wonderful , especially the outdoor decks. I live in maine , but I am already thinking up reasons to go back."
"Room was clean and spotless, had been painted since our last visit. Nicely decorated and comfortable king size bed. Price is excellent and it’s a pleasure to stay at this motor lodge that has been well maintained."
"I was relieved to find the Jeremiah Mason House B&B to stay in while I was taking a weekend workshop nearby. I don't usually stay in B&Bs because, as a vegan, it's usually impossible to get the &B part, but I saw that the owner offered vegetarian options, so I asked her about it before my arrival, and she was more than happy to accommodate my dietary needs with a delicious breakfast! In addition, the room (en suite) was decorated with love, the bed was comfortable, the wifi fast, the portable fireplace heater helped take the extra chill off nicely and quickly, and the shower was hot and good pressure. I would absolutely stay there again if I'm ever back in the area. "
