"This is a HOSTEL, not hotel. We probably wouldn't have booked here if we would have known before.
The front desk is on the first floor, the staff helps with heavy luggage.
During our stay, breakfast was changed from buffet style to plates (which had to be chosen the day before)"

"Très beau séjour dans ce Ryokan recommandé par Michelin. Personnel super serviable, accueillant et au devant de nos besoins, souriant, à l’aise en anglais.
Onsen et bain public disponibles
Excellent petit déjeuner, au choix: végétarien avec beaucoup de fruits, asiatique très bon ou western. Le western était ordinaire.
Avantage majeur: à 350 m de la gare de Takayama!
