"The location of the hotel was ideal: very close to the ocean, shopping and food. The rooms were nice, but there were problems…the AC didn’t blow cold air and it was SO LOUD! The toilet ran the whole time we were there. Parking was definitely an issue, as in we almost could never park on site. When you first check in you initial all these different fines they might charge you for, some things that makes sense, but other things that were weird and random. Also on the door to your room is a sign to take out your own garbage, and clean your dishes or you’ll be fined. It didn’t make for a very welcoming feeling to think they were hoping to catch you doing something that would make you have to pay additional fees."

"The room was the most poorly equipped condo we have ever stayed in. Very few kitchen utensils, tiny skillets, tiny coffee pot. No food storage bags or covered containers. Rusty freezer. The outside facilities were nice, clean pool and hot tub, nice gas grills. Not enough umbrellas for shade. Stayed in E3, below street level. Would not recommend."

"My parents and I stayed in room 309 for 3 nights. Overall, we have a great vacation time here. Good: 1) Great location, walking distance to the restaurants and grocery stores. 2) Extraordinary views from the lanai, even better than expected. Although we live in the north-facing room, the side view of the ocean is also great, and the lagoon and mountain give more diversity. 3) Provide everything we need, from a fully equipped kitchen to all of the beach supplies. Great for a family vacation. Several acceptable drawbacks: 1) The check-in process is not really smooth. I know I made the reservation just the night before. But I did not get any check-in instructions. After we arrived, the front office was closed, and we didn't know who to consult. Fortunately, the emergency number works, and a staff member contacted me within 30 minutes to give us the code and let us in. 2) The whole building is a little old, even though it was carefully cleaned; some dust can be seen in the corner. There was a smell when we arrived, and we had to keep the lanai door open for several hours to refresh the air in the room. 3) The living room becomes crowded when I unfold the sofa bed. We have to fold it every morning and unfold it every night. 4) The laundry room opens 8 am-7 pm daily, a little inconvenient for me since I am used to doing laundry at night. "

"What stands out the most is watching the sunsets while standing out on the narrow deck. Place was so clean and ready for our stay when we entered. Thank you Grand and your cleaners for your excellent service. If there was one thing that might need to improve our the mats. There are 3 main mats (kitchen, bathroom and entry) are very thin and prone to buckling everything we walk over them. What we need are the thicker ones with the sticky bottoms for traction to the hardwood floors. There were a couple of occasions where I slid on moving mat causing a near trip and fall situation. Anyways, just something for owner to consider. Thank you for listening. Aloha and hope to be back next year"
